
Volleyball Set for Three-Match Homestand

The University of Louisville Cardinal volleyball team (17-9, 9-1) return home to take on No. 16 Tennessee (20-3, 13-1) on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. before taking on Syracuse (17-9, 6-4) on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 2p.m. and Marquette (20-6, 10-0) on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. All three matches will be played at the KFC Yum! Center.
Louisville is looking to get back on track after Pittsburgh snapped the Cardinals' 15-match home win streak on Oct. 23. Louisville rebounded to sweep USF last Friday in Tampa, where U of L hit .402 including .586 as a team in the second set. Emily Juhl led Louisville with 10 kills on 20 swings with no errors. Lola Arslanbekova added 13 kills and six digs.
Louisville and Marquette square off in a pivotal match for seeding in the BIG EAST Tournament. Currently the Golden Eagles hold a one-match advantage over the Cardinals.
Cardinal fans can take advantage of several promotions this week. Wednesday is a Red Out, Saturday is Youth Day and Sunday is Girl Scout Day. Fans can follow the action of all three matches on CardsTV and through Gametracker on UofLSports.com.
