- Louisville improves to 37-24 all-time against Cincinnati (including 20-6 at home), beating the Bearcats twice in one season for the third time in four years. The Cardinals have won eight of the last nine in the series.
- Cardinal head coach Jeff Walz improves to 7-1 all-time versus UC, losing only in the second matchup last season (74-68 in overtime on Feb. 2).
- Cincinnati is Louisville's most common opponent all-time (now 61 meetings) and most common victim (37 wins).
- U of L's point total of 83 was the largest for the Cards in the series since March 1, 1997, when they defeated Cincinnati 84-67 in the Conference USA Tournament in Chicago.
- The 36-point win was the second-largest for either team in the 61-game history of the series, behind only Louisville's 44-point margin on Feb. 18, 1991 (90-46).

- U of L's six conference opponents this season have combined for 133 turnovers, or 22.2 per game. That per-game average is tied for tops in the BIG EAST with Notre Dame.
- On the flipside, Louisville committed just nine turnovers in the game, its fewest since recording just eight in a win at UC on Feb. 14, 2009.
- After a 7-0 advantage in fast-break points against Cincinnati, Louisville has now outscored its foes 92-24 on the fast break at home this season.
- Louisville put together two long runs (13-0 and 18-0) against the Bearcats--both in the first half--giving U of L 17 runs of 13 or more unanswered points this season, including four versus Cincinnati.

- The two runs in Saturday's game came back-to-back, as U of L outscored UC 31-2 over a span of 14:13 to break a 6-all tie and race out to a 37-8 lead.
- The second of the two runs kept the Bearcats scoreless for 9:49, the longest scoreless drought for a Louisville opponent this season.
- The 13 first-half points for Cincinnati tied for the third-fewest by any Cardinal opponent in any half in school history. The only lower-scoring halves by Louisville opponents came earlier this season (eight for Houston Baptist in the second half on Nov. 17) and in 1996-97 (12 in the first half by Coastal Carolina on Dec. 18).

- Freshman Antonita Slaughter went 3-for-5 from long range against Cincinnati, tying her career high for threes made (a mark she has now reached four times). - Harrington, Gibbs, freshman Shoni Schimmel, and junior Monique Reid combined for 13 assists and no turnovers in the contest. The quartet finished with 35 points on 14-of-24 (.583) shooting.
- Schimmel canned at least one three for the 16th consecutive game, ending 3-for-5 from behind the arc.
