- Senior guard Edgar Sosa scored in double-figures for the fourth straight game, tallying 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor. It was his highest output since scoring 15 points in a win over Connecticut on 2/1/10. It was just the second time all season that he scored 20 or more points and the most since tallying 26 at Providence on 1/6/10.
- The Cardinals committed just nine turnovers in the game, which was the second-fewest this season and only the second time they committed less than 10 in a game this year. Louisville had a season-low seven miscues in a win over Cincinnati on 1/24/10.
- Sosa recorded a season-high eight assists for the third time this season. He tallied eight helpers against Connecticut on 2/1/10 and Rutgers on 2/16/10. Sosa recorded eight of the team's 11 assists. He has handed out at least four assists in 18 games this year.
- Senior Reginald Delk scored in double-figures for just the fifth time all season with 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the floor and also 3-of-6 from behind the arc. It was his first double-digit performance since scoring 10 points versus Connecticut on 2/1/10.
- Louisville forced just 12 turnovers in the loss tonight against Georgetown. Louisville entered the game turning its opponents over 15.6 times per game.
- Louisville was held to 60 or less points for just the second time all season, dropping both contests this year. The Cardinals tallied a season-low 55 points against St. John's on 2/11/10.
- The Cardinals hit just six three-pointers, which marked just the ninth time all season that Louisville failed to hit seven or more trifectas in a game.
