- Coming off of a career-low assist outing against Nebraska (just one), Schimmel dished out a career-high 12 assists with just one turnover on Tuesday (including nine assists before her lone miscue). The 12 assists tie for the 13th most in a game in Louisville history and the most since Patrika Barlow tied the school record with 16 against Ball State on Nov. 10, 2007.
- Schimmel's 12 assists fell one shy of the Louisville freshman record of 13, set by Stephanie Edwards versus Fordham on Nov. 28, 1980, and then matched by Sara Nord on Feb. 2, 2001, against Memphis.
- Schimmel is the first Louisville player to notch start a game with nine assists before turning the ball over since Patrika Barlow had 11 assists and no turnovers in a 91-62 win over St. John's on Feb. 20, 2007.
- Schimmel also set a new career high in steals in the game, finishing with seven. The seven steals tie for the 15th most in a game in Cardinal history and the most for a Louisville player since Angel McCoughtry had eight on Feb. 11, 2009, at Notre Dame. She becomes the first Cardinal with seven assists and seven steals in the same game since Barlow had 11 assists and seven thefts in the Sweet 16 against North Carolina on March 29, 2008.
