
Women's Basketball Travels to Old Dominion

Norfolk, Va. - The Louisville women's basketball team is in the middle of a three game road trip as they face Old Dominion on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7:00 p.m. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back from their second loss of the season against No. 5 Xavier on Tuesday night.
Louisville enters the game with an overall record of 3-2, with both losses coming against Top Five teams. Junior Monique Reid leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 17.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Freshman Shoni Schimmel is second on the team in scoring with 11.0 points per game. Schimmel also leads the team in assists with 5.0 per game.
Old Dominion enters the game with an overall record of 2-1. The Lady Monarchs are coming off their first loss of the season, a 62-60 defeat at NC State. Senior Jasmine Parker leads the Lady Monarchs in scoring with 15.7 points per game. Alena Voronina leads the team on the boards, grabbing 5.7 rebounds per game. She also ranks second on the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game.
Old Dominion leads the overall series 2-1 against Louisville. The Cardinals defeated the Lady Monarchs 82-75 last season in Cancun. The last time the two teams met in Norfolk was on Nov. 30, 1997, the Cardinals fell 77-39.
