- Senior forward Reginald Delk registered his first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds today versus Cincinnati. His previous career-best for rebounds was five, which he did three times in his career (most recently against Charlotte on 12/5/09). Delk had one of his best overall games with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Delk was 5-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc,
- The Cardinals recorded their 1,600th in the 94 years of the program's history; U of L is 1,600-838 all-time in school history.
- Head coach Rick Pitino is now 4-1 against his former assistant Mick Cronin, who was an assistant for the Cardinals from 2001-03. Pitino is 23-6 all-time in games against his former assistants.
- The Cardinals committed a season-low seven turnovers today in the win over Cincinnati. The Cardinals have turned the ball over fewer times than the opposition in 13 of 20 games this season. The previous low was 10, which the Cardinals did twice this season.
- The Cardinals connected on seven or more three-point field goals for the 14th time this season. Louisville hit 7-of-19 trifectas in the win this afternoon.
- Sophomore Samardo Samuels scored in double-figures for the 17th time this season and 42nd time in his career. Samuels scored 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor.
