
Women's Tennis Wraps Up Day Two at Spartan Invitational

The University of Louisville women's tennis team wrapped up the second day at the Spartan Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the MSU Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Cardinals picked up seven wins throughout the day.
Leading the Cardinals would be Kaysara Mandry in the Blue Singles Draw. In the third round, Mandry won 6-1, 6-3 and then advanced to the finals with a win in the semi's over teammate Gabi Duncan 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. Louise Noe picked up a win in the third round but fell in the semi's.
In the White Draw, Mandy Brown won 6-3, 6-0 in the third round but fell in a three setter in the semi's.
The doubles team of Jo-Ann Van Aerde and Mandy Brown beat their opponents from Alabama but fell to Tennessee 8-6 in the semi-finals in the Green Draw.
