
Women's Golf Leads the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville is currently atop the leader board after two rounds of the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup held at the Cardinal Club. The Cardinals shot a 289 in the first round and a 286 in the second round for a score of 575. Kentucky and Maryland are tied for second with a score of 593.
Juniors Sara Maude Juneau and Laura Anderson currently lead the field with a score of 141. Juneau shot a72 in the first round and shot a 69 in the second round for the lead. Junior Laura Anderson led after the first round with a score of 70 and remained in the lead after shooting a 71 in the second round.
Redshirt freshman Anna Karin Ljunstrom is currently tied at fourth with a score of 145. She shot a 73 in the first round and a 72 in the second round. Senior Daphne Parker is currently tied at 25th with a score of 152. Parker shot a 74 in the first round and a 78 in the second round.
Freshman Candice Wiley is currently tied at 29th with a score of 153. The freshman shot a 79 in the first round and a 74 in the second round.
The Cardinals had three individuals competing in the tournament. Sophomore Maria Castellanos is currently tied at 37th with a score of 156. Senior Camille Williams is tied for 52nd with a score of 159 and Danielle Kom is tied at 63rd with a score of 161.
The Cardinals will wrap up play with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday morning.
