- The Cardinals tallied a season-high 52 points in the first half tonight against Oral Roberts. Louisville connected on 20-of-36 (55.6 percent) from the field and recorded 16 assists. Senior Edgar Sosa registered 16 points and three assists in the first half.
- The Cardinals forced a season-high 21 turnovers tonight marking the sixth time in nine games that the Cardinals turned the opposition over 16 or more times in a game. Louisville turned East Tennessee State and Western Carolina over 20 times earlier this season.
- After being held scoreless in the loss to Western Carolina last Saturday, senior guard Jerry Smith scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and 2-of-5 from behind the arc.
- Sophomore Samardo Samuels scored 17 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the floor, putting him in double figures for the ninth straight game this season. He tied his career-high for free throws by going 11-of-12 from the charity stripe. He hit 11 against Morgan State on 11/22/09.
- Senior Edgar Sosa recorded a season-high with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor and also tied his season-best for 3-point field goals in a game with four, He scored 18 points in the loss to UNLV on 11/28.
- The Cardinals registered a season-best 26 assists tonight in the win over Oral Roberts and had 21 assists in the loss to Western Carolina, giving the Cardinals 47 assists in the last two games. It marked the seventh time this season that the Cardinals had 14 or more assists in a game.
- The Cardinals tallied 94 points and are now 114-7 when scoring more than 80 points in the last 10 seasons. Louisville 84-6 under head coach Rick Pitino and 5-1 this season when scoring better than 80 points.
- The Cardinals drilled 12-of-32 3-point field goals in the win over ORU, marking just the third time all season that Louisville hit 10 or more 3-point field goals in a game. It was the first time since they hit 11 against Appalachian State that Louisville hit double-digit 3-point field goals in a game.
