
Four Field Hockey Cardinals Earn All-West Region Honors

Complete Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region Teams
Four University of Louisville field hockey players earned 2009 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-West Region honors. Heather Bustanoby and Nicole Youman were selected to the first team, while Tuli Lim and Hayley Turner were named to the second team. Bustanoby and Youman are eligible for All-America consideration.
Bustanoby, a senior goalkeeper from Virginia Beach, Va., was the 2009 BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year and a first team all-conference selection. She posted a 12-8 record,and a 1.56 goals-against average. Over 20 games, she held opponents to 30 goals and helped notch five shutouts. Bustanoby is a two-time all-conference team pick and was named to the NFHCA All-West Region second team in 2008.
Youman, a junior forward from Black Mountain, Australia, scored a career-high 12 goals and led the team with 14 assists, which ties school record for single season assists. Youman was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 12 and is a three-time all-BIG EAST Conference selection as well as a unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST team member. She is also a two-time NFHCA All-West Region selection.
Lim, a junior midfielder from Chapel Hill, N.C., is a two-year starter and two-time All-NFHCA West Region selection. In 2009, she recorded 10 points on three goals and four assists.
Turner, a sophomore midfielder/forward from Sydney, Australia, led the team with 41 points which placed her second in BIG EAST conference standings. She also has a team-best 15 goals and was third in the league in that category.
