
7th Ranked Cardinals Travel to South Florida

Tampa, Fla. - The 7th ranked Louisville Cardinals will face the South Florida Bulls on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sun Dome. The game will be broadcast live on WKRD or at www.uoflsports.com. Jim Kelch will handle play-by-play duties while Adrienne Johnson will be the color analyst.
The Cardinals enter the game ranked 7th in the AP Poll and tied for 11th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll this week. Louisville enters the game with an overall record of 16-1 and 3-0 in league play. Louisville's 15-1 record ties the record for best start in school history. Senior Angel McCoughtry leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 21.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Senior Candyce Bingham is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 11.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
South Florida enters the game with an overall record of 14-3 and a league record of 1-2. The Bulls are led in scoring by their backcourt duo of Shantia Grace and Jazmine Sepulveda. Grace leads the team with 15.9 points while Sepulveda is second on the team with 13.3 points per game. Junior forward Porche Grant leads the team on the boards, averaging 7.7 rebounds per game. USF is 11-1 at home this season with their only loss coming at the hands of top-ranked Connecticut.
The Cardinals lead the series 19-2 over the Bulls. Louisville has dropped the last two games at the Sun Dome to South Florida.
