NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Jeremy Hazell scored a career-high 29 points -- including nine 3-pointers -- and Seton Hall overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to beat Louisville 92-82 on Saturday night.
Brian Laing added 25 points for the Pirates (12-6, 2-3 in Big East), who made nearly 63 percent of their shots in the second half, going 15-for-24 from the field.
Jerry Smith had 25 points to lead the Cardinals (13-5, 3-2), who had their four-game winning streak snapped despite having four players finish in double figures.
Terrence Williams produced just the fourth triple-double in U of L school history with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. It was his second triple-double of the season.
Louisville appeared to be in command early on, but the Pirates rallied late in the first half and only trailed 45-43 at the break. The Cardinals then started the second half with a 20-8 run before the Pirates started their furious comeback.
