
Brohm Named to Preseason All-American Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - University of Louisville senior quarterback Brian Brohm (Louisville, Ky.) was named a Playboy Preseason All-American by the magazine on Friday.
Brohm, a three-year starter for the Cardinals and a Heisman Trophy candidate in 2007, has thrown for 6,751 yards and 41 touchdowns in his career. He stands fourth all-time in school history in passing yards and touchdowns, and currently is the school's record-holder in completion percentage.
A second team All-BIG EAST selection in 2006, Brohm threw for 3,049 yards and 16 touchdowns in leading the Cardinals to a 12-1 record an a win over Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl, where he was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
Brohm will fly to Arizona on May 11-13 for the team's festivities.
