Louisville Head Coach Jeff Walz's Pregame Comments
"Tomorrow's game is going to be a real test for our team. We have won nine straight, but in the last two we have not played with much emotion. MTSU comes in here after a big win at home over No. 8 ranked LSU Friday night. They are a very well coached team and have really been playing some good basketball over the past three weeks. "
"They have one of the top players in the country in Amber Holt, who is averaging 25 points per game. Amber can shoot the three and takes the ball to the basket as well as anyone in the country. It will be a special day for our fans to come and watch two of the nation's best players in Amber Holt and Angel."
"Our success tomorrow is going to depend a lot on how well we handle their press. MTSU loves to get you in a full court game and will try and create as many turnovers as possible. If we show poise and attack the press, good things can happen for us."
