Louisville Head Coach Jeff Walz Pregame Comments
"Tomorrow should be very exciting game as we are expecting a large crowd in support of our two hometown players, Angel McCoughtry and Chauntise Wright. It is going to be an exciting day for them to get the opportunity to play in front of their family and friends. It is also a very important game, as we are finishing up a four game road swing. We are 3-0 so far on this road swing and we are hoping to finish up our last game before Christmas break with a very good performance."
"We have played 10 games to date and this will be our 11th game, with nine of those games being played on the road. I am very proud of the effort that these young ladies have given me and our entire staff through the first half of the season. It has been a tough road being away as long as we have. We are looking forward to a good hard fought game tomorrow and getting to spend Christmas with our families. We are also looking forward to getting back and playing in Freedom Hall on the 28th."
"Coppin State is a very well coached team. They have done extremely well in their conference the last two years. They were the MEAC Champions in 2005-06 and the tournament runner-up in 2006-07. I expect a very physical game tomorrow, I expect a high scoring game, and I expect a very exciting game as both teams will try to press and push the basketball."
