
Women's Golf Captures Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup Championship

Louisville, Ky. - The Louisville women's golf team shot a 305 in the final round of the Napa River Grill Cardinal Classic to win the tournament on Tuesday afternoon. The Cardinals finished the 54-hole tournament with a score of 892. Augusta State finished second with a score of 897. Maryland shot a 295 in the final round to move up to third with a score of 908.
All five Cardinal players placed in the Top 25. Junior Jenny Calkins carded a 76 in the final round to finish second with a score of 219. Maryland's Kelly Calkin shot a 70 in the final round, moving up three spots, to take medalist honors. Adrienne White shot a 75 in the final round to move up two spots, finishing tied for 6th place with a score of 223.
Sophomore Cindy LaCrosse shot a 78 in the final round to finish 8th with a score of 224. Sophomore Amanda Henry shot a 78 in the final round to finish tied for 15th with a score of 228. Senior Cristina Gonzalez shot a 76 in the final round to finish tied at 23rd.
Three Cardinal freshmen competed as individuals. Camille Williams shot a 242 to finish tied at 51st. Chrissy Pachuta finished the tournament with a score of 254 and Danielle Kom finished with a score of 282.
