- Sophomore Will Scott recorded a new career-high with 19 points, scoring 12 in the first half. Scott went 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-5 from behind the three-point line. He also was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Scott's previous-high was a nine-point performance against Ohio last night.
- The Cardinals moved to 4-0 at Freedom Hall this season.
- Sophomore Terrence Williams tied a career-high with a season-high 13 rebounds - the second time this season the sophomore had 10 or more rebounds in a game. His other career-best was a 13-rebound performance against Marquette on 3/1/06.
- Freshman guard Edgar Sosa scored 14 points and is averaging 18.0 ppg in the first two games of the tournament after scoring a career-high 22 last night.
- Junior Juan Palacios scored in double figures for the fifth time in six games this season, scoring 14 points and seven rebounds. It's also the sixth straight game that he recorded six or more rebounds.
