Kolesnikova Named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week

Kolesnikova is the first conference newcomer to be named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week three times this season. Over the weekend, she helped the Cardinals post wins over conference foes West Virginia (11/4) and Pittsburgh (11/5). Against West Virginia, Kolesnikova came off the bench to hit .455 and total 13 kills. In the Cardinals final match of the week against Pittsburgh, Kolesnikova hit .286, notched 13 kills and posted five service aces. For the week, the Louisville rookie hit .360 and collected 26 kills to keep the Cardinals in sole possession of second place.
