Women's Tennis Completes First Day of Midwest Blast

The University of Louisville tennis team completed the first day of the Midwest Blast at Illinois with a sweep of their matches.
In doubles, Natalia Baez and Bianca Gorbea defeated Whitney Reys and Whitney Milhorn from Purdue 8-1. Maria Klokotzky and Natalie Laszkowski teamed to win 8-2 over Donna Dellagdillo and Jenny Edner of Northern Illinois.
In singles, Gorbea beat Megan Brooks of NIU 6-2, 6-0. Laszkowski beat Whitney Reys of Purdue 6-2, 6-0. Baez beat Chris Nagel 6-0, 6-1.
