Kolesnikova Named BIG EAST Player of the Week

Tatyana Kolesnikova was named BIG EAST Player of the Week for the Week ending Oct. 29. She dominated both matches last week for the Cardinals with .608 hitting for the week. She hit .520 against DePaul with a match-high 15 k ills and four aces. She helped U of L get just its fourth ever win against Notre Dame by hitting a torrid .692 with 19 kills almost doubling the next highest kill total by an individual on either team in just 26 swings and with only one error. She has already been named Rookie of the Week twice by the BIG EAST.
