Women's Tennis Completes Day 2 at Spartan Cup

The Cardinals were successful in A doubles and singles.

Maria Klokotzky advanced to the Flight A Singles Finals and teammate Suzanna Gracanin will play in the Flight B Singles Finals as the University of Louisville continues play at Michigan State's Spartan Cup in East Lansing, Mich.

In doubles, Stephania Velazquez and Natalia Baez advanced to the semi-final round in Flight A Doubles with an 8-2 win over Michigan State's Christine Bader and Sarah Andrews. Klokotzky and Robyn White partnered to veat Nikki Evans and Mallory Stemle of IUPUI to gain the semi-finals on the other side of the bracket. In Flight A Consolations, Bianca Gorbea and Gracanin made the semi-finals as well.

The Cardinals conclude play Sunday evening.
