
Suzanna Gracanin Named to ITA Scholar Athlete List

University of Louisville freshman women's tennis player Suzanna Gracanin has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete.
The freshman from Chicago, Ill. posted a 25-13 record in singles for the Cardinals, who had their third straight 20-win season this year.
"We are extremely proud of Suzanna for the honor she received," said head coach Greg Davis. Suzanna is a great example of type of person we want at U of L. Not only is she a gifted athlete but she performs at the highest level in the classroom as well."
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1) be a varsity letter winner, 2) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters. This award honors freshman through seniors year.
