
Women's Tennis Beats Eastern Kentucky 5-2

The No. 75-ranked University of Louisville women's tennis team took the doubles points and four of the singles slots to beat visiting Eastern Kentucky University 5-2 to boost their record to 16-7 Friday afternoon in Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The Cardinal doubles team of Kelly Taylor and Natalie Laszkowski beat Meredith Giles and Tevin Roof 8-2 at No. 1. Suzanna Gracanin and Robyn White paired to beat Lucia Vojtkova and Hannah Bartsch 8-2 at No. 2. In singles, White won her match at No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Giles. Taylor took the No. 2 berth with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Vojtkova. Laszkowski and Gracanin beat their opponents in two sets at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. EKU won the No. 5 and No. 6 spots by default.
