The No. 75-ranked University of Louisville women's tennis team beat Belmont 5-2 to win the second match of the day and raise its record to 17-7.
The Cardinals won the top four slots in singles and the top two in doubles to take the match. Natalie Laszkowski and Kelly Taylor beat April Bradley and Katie Rhodes 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Robyn White and Suzanna Gracanin handled Elizabeth Conyer and Linda Johansson with a score of 8-2 at No. 2.
After winning the doubles point, the Cardinals then rolled through the top four singles slots. U of L defaulted the bottom to give Belmont its two points.
