
Brohm Named Sophomore All-American

College Football News named University of Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm to its Sophomore All-America team.
Brohm had a great season before injuring his knee in the third quarter against Syracuse. Brohm passed for 19 touchdowns and 2,883 yards and was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year.
A first team All-BIG EAST selection, Brohm is the nation's second-rated passer with a 166.73 efficiency rating. He completed 68.8 percent of his passes and threw just five interceptions.
Brohm had surgery to repair a torn ACL on December 4 and will be ready to go in August, 2006.
