
Women's Tennis Beats Miami of Ohio

The University of Louisville women's tennis team took the doubles point and then all but one singles match to beat Miami of Ohio 6-1. The Cardinals raise their record to 2-0.
"We played as good of doubles as we have in my three years at U of L," said Greg Davis, U of L head coach. "We wanted to get some momentum going into next weeks' match against Kentucky, a top national team and today we did justthat."
The Cardinals swept the doubles easily. No. 1 doubles team Suzanna Gracanin and Leslie Stewart combined to beat Linda Jirouskova 8-1. Kelly Taylor and Natalie Laszkowski paired to win No. 2 8-3 and Ariana Marshall and Robyn White took No. 3 8-2.
