Austin, Texas - University of Louisville sophomore Brandon Cook finished 20th in the discus throw at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas. Cook recorded a personal-best mark of 177 feet, 1 inches for the 20th place finish.

The Borden, Ind., native topped his former personal-best mark of 176 feet, 4 inches that he recorded at the NCAA Regional Championship in Baton Rouge, La.

SMU's Hannes Hopley won the event with a throw of 203 feet, 5 inches.
