Women's Tennis Uproots Sycamores 6-1.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The University of Louisville women's tennis team beat to Indiana State 6-1 at the Wabash Valley Tennis Center. The Cardinals won the doubles point and all but one singles match for the win. The Cardinals move to 11-5 for the season.
The Cardinals won all their matches in two sets and took two of the three doubles match.The freshman tanden of Michele Spiess and Julia Hierl won at No. 1 doubles. Spiess won her singles match 6-1, 6-1 over Carolina Salinas. U of L's Kelly Taylor paired with Natalie Laszkowski to win over Leah Esmero and Lisa Herndon 8-4. Both Taylor and Laszkowski went on to win their singles matches as well. Christina Gogol won at No. 4 and Paige Eber won easily over Herndon 6-2, 6-0.
