Garrick Earns C-USA Pitcher of the Week Honors

University of Louisville softball player Kady Garrick was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week for her efforts over the period ending Feb. 16.
Garrick (3-1) posted two wins at the North Carolina Triangle Classic over the weekend. The right-hander recorded a complete game shutout against Purdue, allowing just two hits and walking no batters. The freshman standout from Tucson, Ariz., combined with Catherine Bishop for a shutout against NC State. In that game, Garrick pitched five innings and allowed just two hits against the Wolfpack.
Louisville (4-3) will travel to Norman, Oklahoma to play fourth-ranked Oklahoma in the OU/Nike Classic on Feb. 20.
