The University of Louisville women's team was shutout 7-0 by Marshall University Sunday at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The Herd swept the doubles point. Although three singles matches went three sets, the Cardinals came up short to move their record to 8-4 in the dual spring season.
"We knew going in that this would be a difficult match," said head coach Greg Davis. "We knew it was going to be a battle, but we will just put it behind us and get ready for the second match of our doubleheader."
