The University of Louisville women's team upended visiting IUPUI 7-0 at the Bass Rudd Tennis Center Sunday in the second match of a doubleheader.
"This win will give us a bit of momentum going into next weekend's conference match at DePaul," said Greg Davis, whose squad moves to 9-4 in the dual season.
The Cardinals swept all three matches to win the doubles point, including an 8-0 sweep of Amanda Valse and Madison Reasoner by U of L's Paige Eber and Christina Gogol.
U of L swept all six singles matches, paced by No. 1 player Michele Spiess' 6-1, 6-2 win over Brookley Crews. Gogol beat Mallory Stemle 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2. Kelly Taylor, Julia Hierl and Eber all won their singles matches.
