Neely and Guzman Earn Conference USA Honors

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville's Matt Neely and David Guzman earned All-Conference USA honors announced by the league on Wednesday. Neely a junior defender was named second team All-Conference USA. Guzman, a freshman forward wasn named third team All-Conference USA and earned a spot on the all-freshman team.
Neely, a New Albany, Ind. native, has been a starter in the Louisville lineup since his freshman season. He played both in the back field and the midfield this season. He finished the year with one assist.
Guzman, a Toronto, Canada native, finished his freshman year as the leading scorer for Louisville. He finished the year with three goals and two assists for eight points.
