
Women's Golf Tied at 16th After Two Rounds

Greenville, S.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team is currently tied at 16th after the second round of play in the Lady Paladin hosted by Furman University. The Cardinals finished the day with a score of 309 for a two day total of 609. Host Furman and the University of Georgia currently are tied at first with a score of 579. TCU is third with a score of 591.
Louisville sophomore Adrienne White is tied at 43rd after carding a second round score of 79. White's two round score is a 151. Furman's Monique Gesualdi leads the field with a score of 139.
Junior Elly Leonard is also tied at 43rd after shooting a 74 in the second round. Leonard also holds a two round score of 151. Senior Meghan Little is tied at 59th with a score of 153. Little finished the day shooting a 77.
Freshman Jenny Calkins, making her first appearance in the Cardinal lineup, is tied for 89th with a score of 158. Sophomore Cristina Gonazalez is also tied for 89th with a two round score of 158. Gonzalez is competing as an individual.
Sophomore Amy Yeates rounds out the Louisville and is tied at 96th with a score of 159. Yeates finished the second round with a score of 79.
Play will resume tomorrow morning for the final round of play with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
