
Women's Golf Stands in Ninth After Two Rounds

Tampa, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team is currently in ninth place after two rounds in the Beacon Woods Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals finished the day with a score of 301 for a two round total of 605. Coastal Carolina is still in first place with a score of 583. East Carolina is in second with a score of 584 and host South Florida is in third with a score of 592.
Louisville sophomore Adrienne White is tied for fifth place with a score of 143. East Carolina's Heidi Helisesen leads the field with a score of 140.
Senior Meghan Little is currently tied for 23rd with a score of 151. Junior Elly Leonard is tied for 37th with a score of 155. Sophomore Amy Yeates carded a 75 in the second round and is tied for 51st with a score of 159. Teammate Cristina Gonzalez is tied at 54th with a score of 161.
The tournament will wrap up play tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
