
Women's Golf Finishes Ninth in Cougar Classic

Hanahan, SC - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished ninth with a score of 925 in the Cougar Classic on Tuesday afternoon. Notre Dame finished first with a score of 889 and Furman finished second with a score of 895.
Miami's Tina Miller took titlest honors with a score of 214. Louisville junior Meghan Little shot a 76 in the final round to finish tied for 11th with a score of 225. Freshman Katie Tewell shot an 80 in the final round and finished tied for 17th in her debut as a Cardinal.
Senior Ali Wright shot an 80 in the final round to finished tied for 36th with a score of 233. Freshman Amy Yeates finished tied for 66th with a score of 242. Redshirt freshman Jaime Bentley finished tied for 83rd with a score of 255.
The Cardinals will host the second annual Cardinal Cup at the Cardinal Club Sept. 20-21.
