Women's Golf Finishes 15th at Mo Morial

CYPRESS, Texas- The Texas A&M women's golf team carded rounds of 314-316=630 on Tuesday and finished ninth at the rain-shortened Texas A&M 'Mo'morial Invitational at Blackhorse Golf Club.
Originally scheduled for 54 holes starting on Monday, the tournament was cut to 36 holes because of inclement weather conditions.
A&M sophomore Nicole Melton tied for eighth in the individual standings with rounds of 75-76=151, seven-over-par on the 6,118-yard, par-72 course. Melton has finished in the top 10 of four straight tournaments going back to the fall. Morgan Hapney led the Cardinals with a 79-72 (151) to tie for 8th.
Baylor won the team title with rounds of 310-300=610, finishing seven strokes ahead of runner-up Arkansas (617). Tulane finished third at 619, followed by Indiana (623), Kansas State (625), Illinois (626), TCU (628), Texas Tech (628), A&M (630), Kent State (631), Nebraska (631), North Carolina State (632), Northwestern (635), BYU (636), Louisville (640), Texas-El Paso (641), Kentucky (643), SMU (657) and McLennan Community College (677).
For U of L,Meghan Little carded a 79-81 (160), Cindy Pasechnik shot a 85-77 (162), Ali Wright shot a 85-82 (167) and Elly Leonard was 91-86 (174).
