
Women's Golf Finishes 15th

Gainesville, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished 15th in the Sun Trust Lady Gator Invitational. The Cards shot a 316 in the second round and a 321 in the third round to finish with a score of 950. The University of Florida won the title with a score of 873. Tennessee finished second with a score of 880 and Tulane finished third with a score of 896.
Florida State's Kristin Tamulis won medalist honors with a score of 215. Florida's Aimee Cho and Tennessee's Violeta Retamoza finished second with a score of 217.
Freshman Elly Leonard finished as the Cards' top finisher, tied for 26th with a score of 228. Leonard competed as an individual for the tournament. Junior Morgan Hapney finished tied for 34th with a score of 229.
Sophomore Meghan Little finished with a score of 236, tying her for 56th place. Senior Cindy Pasechnik finished tied for 71st place with a score of 242. Ali Wright finished with a score of 246, tying her for 80th place and Jessica Kell scored a 251 for 85th place.
The Cards will be back in action on March 17-18 at the Waterleaf Invitational.
