
Women's Golf Finishes Fourth At The Waterlefe Invitational

The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 304 in the final round of the Waterlefe Invitational to finish fourth. TCU won the tournament with a score of 898. Host South Florida finished second with a 907 and Penn State finished third with a 912. Louisville finished the tournament with a score of 918.
"It was nice for Cindy to have a strong tournament," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "Her senior leadership on the golf course means a great deal to this team. Now we are just going to get ready for the Wake Forest Tournament and prepare for the conference championship."
Senior Cindy Pasechnik was back to her old form and finished tied for 10th with a score of 225. Freshman Elly Leonard registered her first Top 20 finish of the year with a score of 229, placing her 20th. TCU's D'Rae Ward won medalist honors with a score of 217.
Morgan Hapney finished tied for 23rd with a score of 232. Sophomore Meghan Little finished tied for 31st with a score of 235. Junior Ali Wright finished 58th with a score of 246. Senior Jessica Kell finished 62nd as an individual with a score of 248.
