
Women's Golf Finishes 12th Due to Rain

Greensboro, N.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished 12th Sunday when rain forced the Bryan National Collegiate to be shortened from its original 54-hole format to 36 holes. Duke won its third consecutive Bryan National title with a four-over par 580. The Blue Devils edged Vanderbilt, who shot a team total of two-under par 286 on Saturday, by four strokes.
Louisville freshman Elly Leonard led the Cardinals with a score of 151 and finished tied at 27th. Nuria Clau of Wake Forest won the tie-breaker for medalist honors with a score of 142.
Junior Meghan Little for 36th place with a score of 153. Senior Cindy Pasechnik shot an 85 and dropped to 63rd with a score 159. Junior Ali Wright moved up to 81st place with a score of 163.
