Women's Tennis Beats Arkansas State

The University of Louisville women's tennis team defeated Arkansas State 5-2 to improve their dual season mark to 6-1.
The Cardinals won No. 1, 2, 5, 6 singles and the doubles point to beat the Indians. It was ASU's first match of the dual season.
Marie Louise Frolich-Hansen continued her streak with a win at No. 1 singles. The freshman, who joined the team in January, is 6-1 in singles. She beat Marina Engelbrecht 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 and then paired with Kelly Taylor to beat Liga Geme and Megan McCoy.
Kelly Taylor also won her singles match, edging McCoy 7-5 in the second set after winning easily in the first 6-2.
Once again, the No. 5 and No. 6 singles slots came through for the Cardinals with Jasmin SIngh easily beating Lica Luca at No. 5 with the score of 6-1, 6-0. Paige Eber beat Barbara Gambosi 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 6 spot. Singh and Eber paired at No. 3 singles to beat Luca and Gambosi 8-4.
