LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville head football coach Bobby Petrino and Director of Athletics Tom Jurich addressed the media and spoke about the Auburn speculation Wednesday morning in the recruiting lounge of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
"First of all, I want everybody to know that I made a mistake and met with representatives of Auburn University last week. I want to apologize to (Director of Athletics) Tom Jurich. Tom's been very good to m. He hired me, he's been very loyal and I should have informed him about that right away. Secondly I want to apologize to (Auburn head coach) Tommy Tuberville."
