Women's Tennis Wins Again

The University of Louisville women's tennis team won their second match of the weekend with a 5-2 win over Butler University in Indianapolis.
The Cardinals took all three doubles slots for the doubles point and won four of the singles matches for the win.
"We got it together in doubles today. We had all six players show up and put out a lot of effort for the doubles point," said first year head coach Greg Davis.
Marie Louise Frolich-Hansen won at No. 1 singles over Kristina Laun 6-4, 6-1 and then paired with Kelly Taylor to win easily at No. 1 doubles over Laun and Alaina Griffin 8-1. Taylor also won her singles match at No. 2 with a win over Tayo Bailey 6-4, 6-2.
The Cardinals got help from the five and six slot in singles with Jasmin Singh and Paige Eber winning No. 5 and 6. Singh beat Lisa Valle 6-3, 7-5 and Eber rolled over Annie Gantz 6-2,6-0.
"Our next two opponents Tennessee-Chattanooga and Arkansas will be a step up to the next level. We are going to work hard this week in practice to take our gasmes up another notch," said Davis. "We are real excited to come off the road after the first month of dual matches at 4-1."
