
Volleyball Draws Ball State in NCAA First Round

The University of Louisville volleyball team will play Ball State Friday, Dec. 6 in the first round of the NCAA hosted by Ohio State. Match times have not been announced.
Should they advance, the Cardinals will play the winner of the Ohio State/Robert Morris match. Pacific, Nevada, Cal State Sacramento and defending champion Stanford await in the other side of the bracket. Louisville is 8-4 against the Ball State Cardinals and 0-2 versus Ohio State.
There are 64 teams in the NCAA field, 31 automatic bids and 33 at-large selections. This is the Cards' 13th appearance.
