ENTRY PROCEDURES:
Go to www.directathletics.com to enter your athletes or team. If you do not already have an account with direct athletics you can register with them at this website. You will be assigned a username and password. You may enter up to 3 athletes per event.
Competition will be kept to 2 heats of each running event. A limited number of open/unattached athletes will be allowed into the meet based on performance.
ENTRY FEE:
$125.00 Per team. (Men and Women teams are separate.)
$15.00 Per individual. Checks payable to: University of Louisville
RELAYS:
You may enter more than one relay team. Unattached/open relay teams may run if there is space available. Unattached/open relay teams must register before the meet when paying their entry fee.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Monday, February 14, online entry page opens for processing, www.directathletics.com. Tuesday, April 19, online entry page closes (3 p.m. EST). Tuesday, April 19: List of Relays qualifiers released (3 p.m. EST), at www.uoflsports.com.
DECLARATIONS:
Wednesday, April 20, online declaration process opens for relays qualifiers at www.directathletics.com (6 p.m. EST). Please scratch qualifiers and relay teams who will NOT be competing in the Cardinal Invitational. If athletes are NOT scratched out of an event, we will assume that they will be competing in the events that they have qualified in. Wednesday, April 20: Online declaration closes (6 p.m. EST)
• Thursday, April 21: Final list of Cardinal Invitational qualifiers posted on uoflsports.com (12 p.m. EST).
SCORING:
This is a non-scoring meet.
FACILITY:
Synthetic surface (HJ, LJ/TJ, PV),located in "D" zones,1/4" spikes only.
Throws field, 500 meters SW of the stadium. Lightly brushed concrete circles and a full rubberized javelin runway.
Track 9, 48" lanes, Martin ISS 2000 "embedded" surface. 1/4" spikes only.
TRAINING FACILITIES:
Trainers will be allowed to use the training facilities inside Cardinal Park Track Stadium. Athletes must remove spikes before entrance into building.
SHOWERS:
Are available on request. You must provide your own towels.
IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN:
FOR ALL IMPLEMENTS - located in the throwing shed in the North side of the throws field. 1 1/2 hours prior to the start of the first throwing event, up until the beginning of the first throwing event.

DIRECTIONS:
Going South on I-65 - take Eastern Parkway exit (#133), and you will see the Track on your right as you exit down the ramp
Going North on I-65 - take second Eastern Pkwy exit (exit #133B) - as you exit ramp go approx. 50 yds to stop sign, turn left onto Crittenden Dr, go apx. 200 yds and turn left onto Bradley Ave, go apx. 100 yds, turn left onto Brandeis Ave which will take you back under the X-way (I-65) and right to the Sports Park (on left)
From I-64 - take into downtown Louisville, pick up I-65 South and follow above
From I-71 - take into downtown Louisville, pick up I-65 South and follow above
PARKING:
Bus and Van parking is available in the small lot (Central Receiving), just north and across street from Sports Park, at intersection of Brandeis & Floyd Sts - also at the Football Stadium, 600 meters south of Track, straight down Floyd Street (see map).
