Women's Tennis Falls to Vanderbilt

Nashville, TN -- The Vanderbilt women's tennis team swept the University of Louisville 9-0 in Nashaville yesterday.
The Cardinals, in their first match of the semester are short-handed while awaiting an eligibility decision from the NCAA. U of L was unable to take a set from the Lady Commodores.
In No. 1 doubles, Melisa San Martin and Julie Penn were swept 8-0 and Paige Eber, who paired with Mariana Torres at No. 2 doubles fell 8-1.
In singles, only Paige Eber at No. 4 singles was able to take more than one game from Vandy. She fell 6-1, 6-3 to Kori Scott.
