Kiawah Island, SC - The University of Louisville women's golf team won the Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate with a score of 909. It marks the first tournament win for the third year program. Campbell finished second with a score of 912 and Tulane finished third with a score of 915.
"I am so proud of this team," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "I told them if they kept working hard it would pay off. Today we played well and kept our cool even after a bad hole. It was a total team effort and when everyone works together you are able to achieve more."

"It is pretty amazing," said Pasechnik. "I guess it will sink in later that I did it. As a team we have been waiting for this win for three years. And it feels great to do at the end of our fall season."
