
Women's Golf Finishes 13th In Lady Paladin Classic

Greenville, SC - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a weekend low of 303 today to finish in the Lady Paladin Invitational. Auburn won the Invitational with a score of 893. The Cardinals finished 13th out of 21 teams with a score of 934.
"We did much better coming in today," said head coach Kelly Meyers. "The last day is usually our struggle day and today I think we conquered that. I was pleased with our efforts today, knowing that we couldn't lose any ground. The course played totally different today and we had some problems putting."
Erin Bell led the Cardinals today, shooting a 74. Bell finished the tournament ranked 21st with a score of 230. LSU's Meredith Duncan took medalist honors with a score of 216.
Morgan Hapney and Ali Wright finished the tournament in 35th place with a score of 233. Hapney shot a 75 today while Wright shot a 78.
Cindy Pasechnik shot a 77 today to finish with a score of 239 while Jessica Kell also shot a 77 to finish with a score of 243.
Lizzy Freemantle shot a 76 today and finished the tournament with a score of 258 while competing as an individual.
