Cardinal Men's Tennis Signs Ireland Native

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Ciaran Foley of Dublin, Ireland signed his National Letter-of-Intent to play for the University of Louisville men's tennis team.
Foley, who will be eligible to compete in January is a member of Ireland's junior national team and is ranked #1 nationally in junior doubles. He has competed in the Sunshine Cup International Team Championships and the Orange Bowl World Junior Championships.
"Ciaran Foley is a seriously intense competitor," said Louisville coach Rex Ecarma. "My goal is to fill my roster with players who have a great passion to battle on the courts."
U of L will open up the spring season on January 21 when they host Toledo and Wright State at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
