LOUISVILLE, Ky. - In a joint effort between the Jefferson County Police, City of Louisville Police and the Jefferson County Public Schools, senior quarterback Chris Redman and junior linebacker Rashad Harris are the focal points of a poster introducing a new anti-violence program in the Jefferson County Public School.
Partners in Addressing School Safety (P.A.S.S.) is a program which allows students to use the Kentuckiana Crime Stoppers hotline to report weapons or potential criminal acts in the county schools. The program is designed so students can remain anonymous while keeping their schools safe.
"We're proud to be a part of this program," said Cardinal head coach John L. Smith. "Anytime we can step outside the athletic circle and make an impression on young people we are happy to do it."
Posters will be distributed to all the classrooms in the Louisville metropolitan area.
