Wolke averaged 25 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks in the exhibition season that consisted of seven games.
"Amanda will be an immediate impact on our program," said head coach Martin Clapp. "She is a very versatile player that can shoot the three or post up on anyone. Her strength and athleticism are two of her best qualities and above all, she's a winner. I'm looking forward to coaching Amanda the next two seasons."
"I felt comfortable with the staff and players at Louisville," said Wolke. "I know in my heart the Louisville will be a Top 25 program before I leave and that is a big time goal of mine. I also liked the fact that the Athletic Director cares enough to stop by the women's basketball office everyday to see how things are going. I also feel that Louisville will provide me the opportunity to play in the NCAA Tournament the next two years and I really like their style of play."
"Amanda Wolke is a very special person and player," said Hutchinson head coach Rob Edmission. "Louisville has added a great player to the program and I believe that U of L will be in the Top 25 in no time. Amanda picked Louisville because of the coaches and the backing of Athletic Director Tom Jurich."

Her attitude is contagious and I am looking forward to coaching her during her career at UofL."

We are looking forward to her joining the team next season."
